  Angels: What the HELL is wrong with them? (ie: Preaching Work)

  i was reading in interest this thread about angels and demons how do angels and demons influence mankind?.

  why is the preaching work taking so damn long?

  hear me out.. because like the preaching work, my musings tend to be long.. lol.

  Not too long ago, I prayed really hard for an answer as to why WTBTS would pay millions of dollars as if to purchase a giant rug to sweep the pedophile lawsuits under. Since I could find no answer even from the Circuit Hounder, I worked in harmony with my prayers and turned to Google. It was as if scales fell from my eyes. The angelic angels directed me to www.silentlambs.com & www.jehovahs-witness.com . I didn't need anybody to knock on my door. I searched. I found.

  After doing careful research (actually, by just reading your post here), I've come to the Scriptural understanding that WTBTS' dismal recruiting results aren't the angels' fault.

  And a Merry Flying Spaghetti Monster's Son's Birthday to you, too !

  as you guys are probably aware, the new watchtower for studying has shed new light on the generations issue (ie whoops we got it wrong, we were right before) .

  the co's here in aus have been briefed to inform the congregation (either formally or informally) that is is part of the cunning of jehovah .

  when jesus parted the non beleiver disciples from the core 12 (or was it 13) he made an outrageous statement and watched the weak walk off - thats exactly what jehovahs organisation has done today .

  BETHELITES - Whatever Became of?

  i often times wonder what happened to certain bethelites that i ran around with during my 1990s tenure there.

  while there are still a few left there, the greater majority of them aren't there for various reasons (marriage, disillusionment, left the borg, etc).

  a couple of cats i wonder about - there was one brother who i believe was from kansas, who got his fingers cut off in a printing press.

  Last I knew, Jerry Beck was transferred from Patterson to Wallkill. Probably still there.

  Liebenspergers (geez, I can't remember the spelling either) I have fact and speculation. Chuck had last been a commuter to Patterson in Legal with the Planned Giving group. He'd go around the country giving instruction to other rich JWs on how to donate or will money and assets to the bOrg and save on taxes. But then I suddenly didn't see him around Bethel anymore. I don't think they stayed in the area, guessing they returned to GA. Their daughter Bethel had a brain tumor when younger and there was a personal experience article in one of the mags as I recall. She married Bob Rodish from Brooklyn. They weren't accepted because of her health, moved into Chuck's basement, had a daughter who was in lots of bOrg pictures and videos. The son Jonathan had been at Wallkill. Last I knew he'd left Bethel and was living with another ex-Bethelite. Not sure about Jonathan, but sometime later I heard that this roommate came out of the closet.

  " so i took the idiots sound track and put the rightful pictures with it that show the reality of their sick doctrine of the "day of jehovah.

  i've been reading this forum for the past 5 years, today during christmas, my wonderful daughter "brooke" aka whyamihere finally got off her a$$ to show me how to post.. what next, you say?

  who the hell knows, but i am here, while i finish my beer..... i lost my train of thought - yay for chistmas and that wonderful sweet necture that god created called southern comfort.. by the way, brooke is typing this, because i can't read while under the influence.. singing out to all my fellow apostates!.

  Lee Waters died of a brain tumor late 2004 or early 2005. He was the official writer for the two Young People Ask... videos. Teaching Committee wasn't planning to do any more of them anyway.

  Ninja & fjtoth, For the record, I loathe Ann Glass and her freakin' racecart. She always seemed to believe that Bethel was designed to be her personal retirement paradise. I can't imagine she ever did anything of value in her life except be the wife of Ulysses Glass.

  slmdf, I've been gone for a while now, but here's a little update on Art: Joe & Jana Brown gone. Melissa & Bill Bellows probably still there. Lockharts and Smiths probably still there.

  Jourles, Jeff & Kim Ahlers - The red-head and the Philipino, knew them well, loved them much, probably still there.

  Black Man, I don't remember Frank DeMatteis, but I remember Frank & Laurie DeCarlo. They played Tara's parents in the first Young People Ask video.

  it was pretty messed up.

  i appealed and two of the three elders on my appeal commity were from our sister congregation.

  when i turned in my appeal letter, the elder i turned it in to tried to talk me out of appealing.

  Have you let her know about JWD here? Even if she reads without posting, it might help her see that she's not crazy.

  You're smart to cool the relationship, but make sure someone's watching out for her. Does she have friends on the outside? Her sister? Having been raised JW, this is a harsh shift from pioneer to DF. Let her know that she doesn't have to suffer alone. Plenty of folks here to give her some much needed support.
